1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the RaptDrama mobile application and related websites or services that link to it (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data, depending on how you use the Services and the choices you make:
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account & Profile: username, display name, password (hashed), avatar, bio, preferences, language/region.
- Contact Information: email address, phone number (if you choose to provide), communication preferences.
- User Content: comments, reviews, playlists/favorites, viewing history you save, reports, support requests.
- Payment & Subscription Data: purchase history, subscription status, and limited transaction metadata provided by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full card details.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & Technical Data: device model, OS version, app version, time zone, IP address, language, network type, crash logs, diagnostics, performance metrics.
- Usage Data: interactions with features, screens viewed, buttons tapped, session duration, referring sources.
- Identifiers: device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID, IDFV); with your permission on iOS (ATT), IDFA for advertising/attribution.
- Cookies/SDKs: cookies and similar technologies (e.g., mobile SDKs) used for authentication, preferences, analytics, advertising, and fraud prevention.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Sign-in Providers: if you sign in with Apple/Google, we receive basic profile info as permitted.
- Payments & App Stores: we receive purchase confirmations and subscription status from Apple App Store / Google Play.
- Analytics/Ads/Crash Reporting: partners may provide aggregated or de-identified reports (e.g., installs, reach, performance).
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including content recommendations and playback quality.
- Process purchases, subscriptions, and restore entitlements via Apple App Store / Google Play.
- Personalize your experience, including language, region, and content suggestions.
- Communicate with you (e.g., service updates, transactional notices, support responses). Marketing communications are sent with your consent or as permitted by law.
- Analytics, research, and measuring performance to understand how the App is used and to guide development.
- Fraud prevention, abuse and spam detection, and enforcing our terms.
- Advertising and attribution, where permitted by platform policies and your choices (see Section 7).
- Legal compliance, accounting, and to protect our rights and users.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the Services you requested.
- Legitimate Interests: improving the Services, security, fraud prevention, and non-essential communications (balanced against your rights).
- Consent: for activities such as push notifications, personalized ads, certain analytics/attribution, or when required by App Tracking Transparency (iOS).
- Legal Obligation: complying with applicable laws and tax/accounting requirements.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers/Processors: cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, email delivery, and payment processing (e.g., Apple, Google). They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Advertising & Attribution Partners: ad networks and measurement providers for personalized or contextual ads (where permitted), and install attribution.
- Legal & Safety: to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect users, our company, or the public.
- Business Transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; we will continue to protect your data and notify you of any material changes.
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. Where “sell” or “share” is defined broadly under certain laws (e.g., California), you may have the right to opt out (see Section 10).
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including providing the Services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify the data.
7. Advertising, Analytics & Tracking Choices
- iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT): we request permission before accessing IDFA for cross-app tracking. You can change this in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android Advertising ID: you can reset or limit ad personalization in Android Settings > Google > Ads.
- Personalized Ads: if enabled, we may use identifiers and activity to personalize ads; you can opt-out in-App or via device settings. If disabled, you may still see contextual ads.
- Analytics & Crash Reporting: we use analytics and diagnostics to improve stability and quality. You can limit certain analytics in the App settings where available.
8. International Data Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries outside of your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights & Choices
10.1 EEA/UK
You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10.2 California (CPRA)
California residents may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. To exercise rights or opt out, please use the in-App privacy controls or contact us at admin@raptdrama.com.
10.3 Brazil (LGPD) and other regions
Where local laws grant similar rights, you can contact us to exercise them.
10.4 How to exercise your rights
Use the in-App Settings > Privacy options (where available) or contact us at admin@raptdrama.com. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agent requests will be honored as required by law.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. Data Deletion & Account Closure
You can request deletion in-App via Settings > Account > Delete Account (if available) or by contacting admin@raptdrama.com. Deletion may be delayed or limited where we must retain data for legal or security reasons (e.g., fraud prevention, tax, chargeback defense).
13. Third-Party Services & SDKs
Our App may include third-party SDKs or services for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, payments, and advertising (e.g., Apple, Google, Firebase, App Store/Play billing, ad networks). Their use is subject to their own privacy policies. We take steps to contractually restrict vendors to appropriate use.
14. App Permissions
Depending on your usage, the App may request access to certain device features; you can change permissions in device settings:
- Notifications: to send you updates, content alerts, and reminders (opt-in/opt-out available).
- Photos/Media (optional): for setting avatars or saving content artwork you choose to download.
- Camera/Microphone (optional): only if you use features that require them (e.g., recording feedback or uploading content).
15. Platform-Specific Disclosures
iOS
- We disclose data collection categories in App Store Connect (“App Privacy”).
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites unless you grant permission via ATT.
Android
- We provide a Data safety form describing what data is collected, shared, purposes, and security practices.
- We respect system ad-personalization settings and resettable advertising IDs.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Annex A — High-Level Data Safety Summary
This table is an aid for app store disclosures and may be adjusted to reflect your actual integrations.
- Collected: identifiers (device ID, advertising ID), diagnostics (crash logs), app interactions, purchase history, email (if provided), user content (comments/favorites), coarse location (derived from IP), country/region.
- Shared: with processors for analytics, crash reporting, cloud hosting, customer support; with Apple/Google for billing; with ad partners for personalization if enabled.
- Security: encryption in transit; access controls; least privilege.
- Data deletion: in-App request or email; backups roll off per retention schedules.
